Seasonal readiness

Indiana gives you both. Be ready for both.

A humid July and a January cold snap punish the same equipment differently. Here is what we check, and what you can check yourself first.

Cooling season

Before the first 90° day. Most no-cool calls in June trace back to something a tune-up catches in April.

  • Refrigerant charge, coil cleaning, capacitor health
  • Drain line cleared so the ceiling stays dry
  • You: change the filter, clear two feet around the outdoor unit

Heating season

Before the first frost. A furnace that limps through October usually quits the first night below 20°.

  • Heat exchanger inspection and CO test on every visit
  • Ignition, flame sensor, blower motor amperage
  • You: test the CO detector, keep vents unblocked
Service area

Indianapolis and the north suburbs. Close enough to come back if we need to.

Trucks run out of Carmel. We keep the circle tight on purpose: shorter drives mean more open windows and a tech who knows your neighborhood's housing stock.

FAQ

Straight answers before you book

Are the windows on this page real?
Yes. The office updates them each morning and again at noon. A window is held once we confirm by phone or text.
What does a diagnostic cost?
A flat trip-and-diagnose fee, told to you before we dispatch, credited toward the repair if you proceed. Members pay nothing for the visit.
Will you tell me to replace when a repair would do?
No. You get both numbers, the age and condition of the unit, and our honest read. Plenty of fifteen-year-old systems have a good repair left in them.
What happens if something fails at 9 pm?
Use Chat / text us or the request form. Whoever is on call sees a clean summary of the problem and calls you back, usually within the hour.
Do you work on heat pumps and mini-splits?
Yes, including cold-climate heat pumps. Ask about utility rebates when you request a quote.

Tell us what's going on. We'll confirm a window.

  1. You send the basics: what, where, how urgent.
  2. The office (or tonight's on-call) calls or texts to confirm a window.
  3. Your tech arrives inside that window or calls first.
